Suggested Option 1
Math 201 Calculus I
Math 202 Calculus II
Math 311 Calculus III
Math 305 Transition to Advanced Math.
Math 320 Linear Algebra
or
Math 328 Abstract Algebra
Plus 1 upper division elective (4 units)
Total: 24 semester hours, including 16 hours of upper division

Suggested Option 2
Math 311 Calculus III
Math 305 Transition to Advanced Math.
Math 320 Linear Algebra
or
Math 328 Abstract Algebra
Plus 2 upper division electives (8 units)
Total: 20 semester hours of upper division work.

Notes:
1. The exact program of courses must be worked out with the approval of a faculty member in the department. A minor contract must be filed with the Registrar.
2. Courses included on the major contract cannot be used on the minor contract.
3. Other combinations of courses are possible, subject to appropriate approval.
