CSEM Scholarship Information

The Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at the University of La Verne has been awarded a $400,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for dissemination of scholarships to qualified students majoring in mathematics or computer science. This grant is a part of the Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship program (CSEMS). Approximately 30 grants of up to $3125 will be disbursed each year from the fall of 2004 through the spring of 2009. Recipients will be selected from students meeting specific financial and academic criteria.

Applications for students matriculating in Fall  are due by September 6th, and for students matriculating in the spring, by February 15. An application form for new applicants is available for download, as well as a recommendation letter form to be used in the application process.  A renewal form for students who currently have scholarships may also be downloaded from this page.  An online application process is under development.
