The Department of Theatre Arts presents a wide range of entertaining, challenging, provocative, exciting and high-quality productions in its annual season. The University of La Verne is located in the city of La Verne, in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, approximately 35 miles from downtown Los Angeles. The Department of Theatre Arts' main facility is Dailey Theatre, which houses two performance spaces: the Dailey Theatre Mainstage and the Jane Dibbell Cabaret. The academic program in the Department of Theatre Arts offers an outstanding environment for theatre education and production experiences. Small class sizes permit individualized instruction and mentorship, and students balance a comprehensive curriculum with a highly inclusive production program that allows significant performance and technical opportunities beginning in the first year of study.
