We are a faculty development department under the Office of the Provost providing assistance for full and part-time faculty teaching and student learning with the following educational technologies: Blackboard (our course management system), smart classroom design and best practices, web and technology-enhanced curriculum support. As a center, we offer two labs for faculty, staff, and student use: a computer lab with Macs, PC's, slide and standard scanners, VHS to DVD transfer, webcams, and more. Our new Ultra Studio provides a quiet place where video and audio can be produced then transformed into computer generated sets and backgrounds. Also new to the CTL is the online and hybrid teaching certification.

We participate in all aspects of learning with technology at University of La Verne including on campus symposia for teaching with technology as well as training seminars at the Regional Campus centers in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology.
