As of Feb. 1, 2008, Mark Goor will take the helm as dean of the College of Education and Organizational Leadership, Provost Alden Reimonenq announced Thursday.
Goor comes to La Verne from George Mason University in Virginia, where he has served as a professor of special education for 13 years, and as associate dean of academic and student affairs.
Goor received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. His most recent book is titled “To Think Like a Teacher: Cases for Special Education Intern and Novice Teachers.”
