Last Friday rap artist Half Dead (Donald Smith), ULV senior Vince Zavala, and rap artist Superfly (Priest Brooks), practiced in the Supertents for a celebrity basketball game. Brooks is a long time friend of Zavala. The game was Saturday at the Great Western Forum, and was sponsored by Black Entertainment Television (BET) benefiting the Boys and Girls Club. Brooks has worked on albums with such rappers as Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and most recently, with Corrupt.
