Snap Snap Poets held a reading and program including rhythmic poetry in Davenport Dining Hall on Monday, Feb. 5, to kick off African-American History Month at the University of La Verne. Corey Cofer, a 1997 ULV alumnus who performs as "BessKepp," in a piece titled "Trinidad, Texas," described a place were racism is prominent.
