Freshman high jumper Sareoun "Boing" Sar competed in Saturday's
track and field meet that was hosted by ULV. Also present were Claremont
Mudd-Scripps, Occidental College, and the University of Redlands.
University of La Verne hosts the Southern California Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Quad Track and Field meet.
The Leopards took the College Division title and scored fourth overall
in the SCIGC tournament.
The University of La Verne baseball team outscored their opponents 70-8
over a span of four games, but lost to Chapman University on Wednesday.
The University of La Verne men's volleyball team easily defeated Dominican
University, and prepares for ASICS tournament.
Indoor soccer Intramurals have become a social and athletic event on
Thursday nights.
The University of La Verne softball team beat the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens
in three straight games last weekend.
A late entry form denies the University of La Verne's swimming and diving
team the chance to participate in NCAA Division III Nationals next week.
