Junior Marc McCoy (No. 10) was fouled by Whittier's Erik Giesler (No.
22) with 2:30 remaining in ULV's Feb. 5 game. McCoy shot 15 for 16 from
the free throw line and helped with the Leopards' 93-85 win over the Poets.
The game marked the end of the first round of SCIAC play. The men's basketball
team is 14-6 overall this season (4-5 in SCIAC).
The Sagehens trounce the women's tennis team, 8-0.
The golf team's traditional home-course advantage is put to good use
