The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles has recently approved Andrés Zervigón's proposal for a John Heartfield exhibition provisionally titled, "The Photograph as a Weapon: John Heartfield." Zervigón, associate professor of art history, will prepare the exhibition concentrating mainly on Germany's Weimar period. The exhibition is scheduled to open in the Getty Research Institute's gallery winter 2007.
