On Sunday the University of La Verne Marlins Fishing Club had its first event. For anglers like Brian Juliussen, vice president of the club, it was hard to get a bite. But the BBQ had a turn out of nine other people, including the club’s adviser, Henry Negrette, campus safety and transportation agent. The event took place at Puddingstone Lake.
