Freshman Travis Jones of La Verne finished the javelin throw last Saturday at Pomona-Pitzer in sixth place with a distance of 33.75 meters. Jones also ran in the 400-meter with a time of 59.78, and 45.56 in the 4x100-meter relay team. The Leopards will go on to compete in Claremont on Saturday.
