‘Electra’-fying Play

For a night of Greek tragedy and acting, senior Rhiannon Cuddy presents the play “Electra,” as her senior thesis.

The performance will be held in Dailey Theater at 8 p.m today and tomorrow. Admission is $5 to $8.

High School Festival

The theater department will host the High School Theatre Festival from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today on the Dailey Theatre main stage and in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre. Admission is free.

Music and Hooka

For a night of good food, music and hooka, the Grapevine Restaurant offers live belly-dancing at 8 p.m Friday and Saturday evenings .
The restaurant is located at 1204 Foothill Blvd. in La Verne.

Rock the Glass House

The Glass House will be hosting Halifax, Greely Estates, Madina Lake and Vincent Black Shadow at 7 p.m on March 1. Tickets are $12.

La Vernacula, ULV’s Latino community magazine, is currently welcoming submissions.

Entries can be submitted in the forms of poetry, short stories, photography and artwork and may be written in English or Spanish.
