Career Fair in Sneaky Park
Graduating seniors and students interested in job opportunities should head
to Sneaky Park on March 9 for Bridging the Future: Career Fair 2004.
The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair offers networking opportunities
and the chance to learn about available positions. ULV Career Development and
Placement Center hosts the event. For more information call ext. 4054.
Peace dinner
The Peace with Justice Center of the Pomona Valley is hosting its annual dinner
from 5-8 p.m. on March 13 at the La Verne Church of the Brethren. The event
costs $10 for students and will include a Mediterranean dinner. For more information

Trip to CSU Channel Islands
Students are invited to attend the 12th Annual California Forum for Diversity
in Graduate Education. A bus will be going to California State University Channel
Islands on Saturday, April 3. Transportation, lunch and the Forum are free,
however a $20 deposit is required by March 15 in order to reserve a place on

Leadership Award Dinner
The University of La Verne Black Alumni Association and the Institute of Multicultural
Research and Campus Diversity will host the Leadership Awards Dinner on Saturday,

Black history nominations
The ULV community is encouraged to nominate students, faculty, staff, alumni
and community members to receive black history leadership awards. Nominations
must be in by March 15. For more information visit www.ulv.edu/imrcd.
AASA fashion show
AASA is having its third annual fashion show at 7:30 p.m. on March 19 at the
Claremont Inn. Student admission is $5 and general admission is $10 at the door.
AASA members are selling presale tickets for $7. Fifty percent of the proceeds
will be donated to AIDS Walk-L.A.
