The fight for first place brought hundreds of cyclists up Fairplex Drive last Saturday. The fourth annual Pomona Valley Stage Race held the third leg of its four-stage race on a route that encompassed Puddingstone Lake in Bonelli Park. The Pomona Valley Stage Race is the year's first event on the National Racing Calendar. Tom Danielson, from Durango, Colo., won the event after Sunday's leg through historic downtown San Dimas.
