Junior Michelle Tang of the women’s tennis team defeated Jenn Knight
from Waynesburg College in a singles match, 6-3, 6-2, March 11. Tang, along
with her doubles partner Michelle Fontanez, defeated Waynesburg, 8-6. The Leopards
shut out the Yellow Jackets, 9-0.
Endicott and Cardinal Stritch are the latest to fall to the surging men's
team.
The baseball team drops its first two in the annual tournament, against DeSales
and Menlo, before bouncing back to pummel UMass-Dartmouth and Rutgers-Newark.
Delighted with their 8th place finish in national competition, the Leopards
return home to face Linfield.
The women put up a good fight before losing a close match, dropping their
record to 5-5 overall.
