La Verne community members came out on a sunny, windy Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the launch of the first phase of the Campus Center Project. Those on hand for the event included La Verne Mayor Jon Blickenstaff, Ann Morgan, President Steve Morgan, Trustee Michael Abraham, his wife Sara Abraham, Barbara Harris and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Benjamin Harris, who laughed during a speech from Jason Greenlee of the men’s basketball team. Construction would be completed in the next few years.
