Diversity Forum

The top student papers from the Diversity Competition will be presented at 11:30 a.m. on April 26 in La Fetra Lecture Hall. This presentation will be followed by a general discussion of new and persisting issues concerning diversity. To RSVP for this event contact Julius M. Poster Session

The University of La Verne Institute for Multicultural Research and Campus Diversity will host a poster session at 11 a.m. on April 20 in the University Mall. For more information call María Grandoné-Llorente at (909) 593-3511 Ext. 4398.

DeafNation Expo 2005

The DeafNation Expo, a trade show for, by and about deaf people, is a celebration of culture and an exhibition of technology all rolled into one. Doors open at 9 a.m. on April 30 at the fairplex. Admission is free.

Classic Chevys park at Fairplex

The Super Chevy Show, held April 29 through May 1, will feature Chevrolets of all shapes and sizes and will be located at the Fairplex Drag Strip and Main Lot.

St. Clair to speak about environment

Jeffrey St. Clair, co-editor of “CounterPunch,” will deliver a speech titled “Nature’s Rapture: Can the Environment Survive George Bush?” at 4 p.m. on April 21 in Hoover 127.
