The top seeded intramural basketball team Corona beat the F/A Top
All-Stars, 72-42, on April 25. Junior John Horton goes up for a dunk in
the second half, but is hung up by the rim. Both teams were undefeated,
2-0, going into last Thursday's game for the West Division. Corona will
go to the play-offs, scheduled for May 8 and 9.
Unexpected breaks and extremely tight competition brought the University
of La Verne women's water polo season to a premature end last weekend.
The bittersweet four-year journey of the University of La Verne's water
polo team is ending in the same fashion for the first complete class program.
SCIAC competition falls to ULV.
