Located in the Historic downtown area of Covina, the Citrus Grill serves up hearty portions in a nostalgic atmosphere.

With a bluesy old fashion saloon like feel, the Citrus Grill definitely caters to a older and more mature crowd.

A meal at this small sidewalk café can get a little pricey, but the establishment offers a large traditional menu, which includes a sizeable beer list and a complete espresso bar.

At The Citrus Grill you can choose from your basic entrees like a New York steak, a classic BLT and light bowtie pasta.

A very good choice is the chicken Piccata, which consists of a tender breast of chicken sautéed in white wine with lemon, butter and caper sauce served with a baked potato and steamed vegetables.

Pairing this entrée with a side green salad, served with the Citrus Grill’s signature Sweet Caribbean dressing, and a glass of white wine will make for a delicious combination. The Chateau St. Michelle – J. Riesling, a sweet chardonnay, is highly recommended.

If you are looking for a great pasta dish, the selections at the Citrus Grill leave something to be desired.

The Fettuccini Alfredo was a bit lack luster; nothing to write home about.

Although it had strong presentation qualities, it was completely lacking in flavor.

For dessert, the Citrus Grill is at the heart of variety.

Everything from chocolate mousse to cheesecake is available as well as tiramisu and even crème brulé. The tiramisu is excellent. A house favorite, the tiramisu consists of ladyfinger pastries soaked in espresso covered with cream filling and topped with dusty flakes of cocoa.

The Citrus Grill has been in business for three years and also provides a complete catering and event planning service.
