University of La Verne bookstore employee Brian Lacey was outside on the first day of school serving free lunch to anyone interested, such as graduate student Larry Hogrebe. The ULV bookstore sponsored the free lunch along with other activities, including a DJ pumping out tunes throughout the bookstore and a drawing for a bicycle or a television.
