‘Leopard Lounge’ debuts Friday
Posted Sept. 26, 2008

With every great team in college sports comes great fan participation, and with that comes home court advantage.

This is something that the Leopards volleyball team hopes will help them continue their dominance this season at Frantz Court.

Student support has been rising this season as the Leopards’ last game had more than 500 fans in attendance.

Starting Friday night against the Redlands Bulldogs, the Leopards will unveil their new student seating section appropriately named the “Leopard Lounge.”

The designated area for students will also come with perks. Students wearing the “Leopard Lounge” t-shirts can buy $5 worth of raffle tickets for $2, or they can buy a t-shirt for $5 and get $5 worth of raffle tickets.

Raffle prizes will be awarded between games 2 and 3.

The Leopards, who have started their season undefeated, play a number of important games this season including when they host the University of La Verne Tournament on Oct. 10 and 11.

At that tournament, they will be playing the Division III, No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams in Juniata and Emory.

Friday’s game at Frantz Court begins at 7 p.m.
