Inspirational Night at Rico A special set of performances called “Women in Christian Music,” will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday at Rico Coffee in La Verne Christian Artists such as Karen M. Groovy sounds of percussion The IGABA Percussion Ensemble, a band that centers on world rhythms and groovy melodies, will perform with guest musician Mike Bennett at 8 p.m. on Oct. 13 in Founders Auditorium. The group features accomplished musicians Ron Powell, Tim “Timbali” Cornwell, Delton Davis and Nat Scott II. General admission is $5, student admission is free. Homecoming Rocks The Campus Activities Board will host “Hopefield with Fire...!” featuring two bands performing full electric sets, as part of Homecoming Week festivities. Jason DeMarte exhibit inspires Jason DeMarte’s exhibition “Restoring Memory,” featuring black and white photography, will be displayed at the Irene Carlson Gallery until Oct. 15.
