Chad Waldhauser holds on as tight as he possibly can, just moments before he is thrown from his horse and is greeted harshly by the ground, hopefully capturing every single second that he can. The bareback riding event was the opening event for the Rodeo, and is viewed by Rodeo fans as one of the harshest rides in town. In order to turn a qualifying ride, a rider must stay on his horse for at least eight-seconds.
