On Oct. 6, Danny Woodhead, running back for the Division II Chadron State Eagles, broke the NCAA all-divisions career rushing record in a game against Western New Mexico. Woodhead currently has 7,550 yards (with four more games left in his senior year), surpassing the previous record of 7,353 yards held by R.J. Bowers of Grove City College.
