Concert Series
The Calder Quartet, featuring Timothy Durkovic on piano, will be performing
at 8 p.m., Tuesday in Founders Auditorium. General admission is $5, students
are free.
The ULV Jazz Ensemble performs at 8 p.m. on Dec. 2 in Founders Auditorium.
The show is free for everyone.
Art Exhibit
The Museum of Latin American Art surveys the evolution of Latin American
graphics. "Latin American Graphics: The Evolution of Identity From
the Mythical to the Personal" is the first traveling exhibition organized
by the Museum of Latin American Art. It will be on display until Feb. 16.

Music News
Actress and rapper Queen Latifah was arrested Wednesday morning in Los
Angeles for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according
to Billboard.com. Latifah was driving on U.S. 101 in North Hollywood when
she was stopped by the California highway patrol after making an unsafe

Out This Week
"Die Another Day" premieres in theaters today. The 20th installment
of the James Bond series stars Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry. The film
places Bond in an around-the-world chase in an effort to prevent a catastrophic
war.
"Friday After Next," the third in the "Friday" series
that stars Ice Cube and Mike Epps, also opens today.
