About 30-45 minutes from La Verne via the 405 freeway and Beach Boulevard,
Huntington Beach, otherwise known as Surf City, is an ideal place to go
during the summer and has much to offer its visitors. The Surfers' Walk
of Fame is located on Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway. The Pierside
Center offers dozens of shops, movies, restaurants and an art gallery. The
area is well-known for its fireworks displays during the Fourth of July
celebration.
Tae Kwon Do instructor utilizes his art major by showing students how
to defend themselves.
