Protesting Rep. David Dreier's stance on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) was David Scott (on left), a candidate for the 37th District. About Dreier Scott said, "He has been in Congress for 18 years. It's time to get him out. He has been in bed with Clinton many times and in two years we'll get him out, too."

Dreier (R-28th District) invited residents to an open forum Tuesday morning at the La Verne City Hall. Dreier has been in congress for 18 years and has been vice chair for the rules committee for three years. Mary Wilson, a La Verne resident, thanked Dreier for coming and praised his work for the citizens.
