Director of Financial Aid Bob Peters is leaving his position at the
University of La Verne in June for personal reasons.
Peters held his position for 6.5 years, and within that time he feels
that the Financial Aid Department has demonstrated its commitment "to
provide the best service possible."
"The financial aid staff has developed into a well-trained and
fully cross-trained group of professionals, able to manage a wide range
of tasks in a complicated profession at a complex institution."
Peters believes many changes have occurred in the Financial Aid Department
throughout his employment; however, he feels that "the entire staff
deserves credit for these accomplishments."
Not only is the University "more compliant with governmental requirements
today than it was 6.5 years ago," it is also "able to provide
awards significantly faster than in prior years . . . generating money to
students (and revenue to the University) faster than in the past."
