Blondes have all the fun

Three blondes were walking through a field when they came across a set of tracks. The first blonde looked down at the tracks and said, “I think they could be deer tracks.” The second blonde went to look and said, “No, I think these are bear tracks.”

They stepped aside and the third blonde went over to the tracks. She looked down and then got run over by the train!

We are all familiar with the ever so popular dumb blonde jokes similar to this one and to be completely honest, I never get tired of hearing them. They always make me giggle and to make it even better, there is usually some truth behind them.

The dumb blonde is a stereotype applied to attractive blonde-haired women who lack common sense as well as academic intelligence.

For quite some time, we have gotten a kick out of watching women such as Marilyn Monroe, Suzanne Somers, Goldie Hawn, Dolly Parton, Jessica Simpson and – last but not least – good old Paris Hilton live up to this title on and off screen.

But nothing beats the hilarity of a real life dumb blonde experience. I was driving home from the beach last summer with my sister and a friend, who just so happens to be blonde when my sis decided that she wanted to stop and grab a crab cocktail before we got on the freeway. As soon as she said crab cocktail, our friend seemed a little surprised and asked if it was a good idea to grab drinks before the drive home. She thought a crab cocktail was an actual alcoholic beverage!

I probably shouldn’t make fun of dumb blondes because I will admit that I do have more than my fair share of blonde moments.

Not a day goes by that I don’t trip and fall, I’m almost always confused about something and if I’m driving it is in your best interest to stay off the road...and the sidewalk.

I live with my mom and sister, who are also blonde, so you can only imagine how crazy our house can get.

My mom was using the toaster the other morning (using her cooking skills to their fullest potential) when she somehow managed to set off the fire alarm. Once it went off, it took all three of us to make it stop. Sounds like a blonde joke to me.

How many blondes does it take to toast a bagel? Ha! My mom even has a license plate that says “3blondz.” At least she gives everyone on the road a fair warning.

Looks like the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I’m not sure how or why but most blondes have a few screws loose upstairs. (Not literally ladies, don’t go hunting for that screwdriver quite yet.)

There may be some scientific explanation or maybe we have had some of that bleach seep into our brains but no matter how silly we look or how stupid we may appear there is something about a ditsy blonde girl that puts a smile on almost everyone’s face.

Whether they are laughing at us or with us, there is nothing that can get a blonde down because we all know that blondes truly do have more fun.
I believe that good old Dolly Parton said it the best, “I’m not offended by dumb blonde jokes because I know that I’m not dumb. I also know that I’m not a blonde.”
