The University offers employees a wide range of resources to support employees in their personal and professional development.  We offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive health and welfare plan, and generous retirement benefit plan.  Regular university employees may also take advantage of the tuition waiver program and take classes toward a degree or for professional enrichment. The university observes 10 holidays each year, including New Year's Day, January 2 when it falls on Friday, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, plus half-day the last work day prior to Christmas Day plus Christmas Day and the following work week through December 31.  See the current holiday schedule.
