Dr. Ray Luechtefeld is an Associate Professor in the Organizational Leadership department at the University of La Verne. He received a B.S.
magna cum laude in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla, an MBA from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Organization Studies from Boston College. He has served on the faculty of the Missouri University of Science and Technology and has over ten years of industry experience, including engineering development with IBM, and is a recipient of an NSF CAREER award. Dr. Luechtefeld¹s research interests include organizational learning and effectiveness, simulations and games for learning and research, action research and Action Science, and the facilitation of learning in groups and workplaces. He is particularly interested in methods to improve the sharing of knowledge in everyday practice through the practical application of organizational theories.
