Bio:

Dr. Andy Steck received his B.A. in Elementary Education, his M.S. in Special Education and his Ed.D in Educational Leadership. Currently Andy is an Assistant Professor of Education teaching for the Liberal Studies program. Prior to joining the faculty at University of La Verne, Andy served as a faculty member at several universities as well as an elementary school teacher and principal in New York State. In 2006, Andy helped start an elementary charter school in Buffalo, New York. He currently consults with the school as a Responsive Classroom staff developer.
