- Christopher E. Burgan is currently developing Visual / Performing Arts curriculum for the Education Department and teaching Art 472 for CAPA.
In 1996, Chris began teaching in ULV�s CAPA program as well as Fine Art at Glendora High School, (earning Best of Fine Art in Southern California High Schools from Otis College of Art, 1999). He remains current in both positions. He has been awarded GHS Teacher of the Month twice and written curriculum for the CA CTAP 210 Committee and the J. Paul Getty Education Program.
His art career began in 1984 as a Graphic Artist for Jackson / Charvel Guitars. His artwork there has been viewed by millions of people by way of TV, magazines, books, catalogues, galleries and concerts, including artwork for members of: Def Leppard, Journey, Van Halen, and Kiss. His freelance / consulting artist clientele includes: Walt Disney Corp., Anaheim Angels, Edwards Theaters, NHRA, Leiner Corp., and Mt. Sierra College.
He is also an accomplished musician. Since 1986 he has recorded and toured as lead guitar with Grammy nominated 60�s folk rockers We Five. In addition he continues to record and tour as a solo singer / songwriter and session musician.
