- Bio:
Dr. Magee served as a teacher, principal, district head counselor and facilitator for thirty two years in the San Juan Unified School District in Sacramento. During her tenure in public education, Dr. Magee was responsible for several community coalitions and partnerships, parent liaison groups and statewide efforts in middle school reform.
After completing the doctoral degree, Dr. Magee became the director of Single District Governance Services at California School Boards Association. In this capacity, she led a team of five consultants who worked with urban, suburban and rural school boards throughout the state in governance team development. This background proved to be a foundation for teaching in the Team Arena, the second year of the University of La Verne Doctoral Program where she is now a tenured member of the doctoral faculty.
