Welcome transfer students!

Our mission is to ensure a successful transition from the Community College to La Verne. We are dedicated to providing quality service and support to students as they pursue their academic goals.

Articulation is an important part of the transfer process. La Verne develops formal partnerships with California Community Colleges through establishing Articulation Agreements. The agreements identify courses that will  meet requirements for general education, major preparation, and transferable units. This information is designed to assist students in making  a seamless and successful transition to La Verne.

Transfer Center

The Transfer Center is located on the main campus in Woody Hall and provides access to articulation information. The center provides preliminary evaluation of coursework and advising for both new and continuing students. Prospective students are required to meet first with an Admissions representative prior to scheduling and appointment at the Transfer Center. Admissions representatives ensure students understand the necessary admissions requirements prior to the evaluation of their coursework. Coursework will only be evaluated for meeting degree requirements once a student is accepted to La Verne.
